How will my order ship and how long will it take?
Processing Time: Most items in my illustration shop are made right here in my studio which allows me to personally package your order and send it off to you. Yay! Unless an item is made-to-order and says so in the listing, please allow 2-4 business days to process your order in addition to the time it take USPS to ship your items. Made-to-order items normally take 5-7 business days to process but due to COVID delays, now take 6-10 days.
Packaging: Each order is packaged with love and care and I make sure to add extra protection for delicate items. All art prints are backed with sturdy cardboard and shipped in a rigid mailer. Single gift wrap orders are mailed in a cardboard tube. All mugs are made-to-order and ship separately directly from the printer to ensure protection during transit.
Shipping: Domestic orders ship via USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail depending on the weight. First Class mail usually arrives 2-5 business days* after processing while Priority mail takes approximately 1-3 business days* to arrive after processing. All U.S. orders will receive tracking info after the order has been shipped.
International Orders: International orders are shipped via USPS International Mail or USPS Priority International Mail based on the weight. International mail can take up to 3 weeks* after processing while Priority International Mail usually takes 7-10* days to arrive.
Tracking is difficult for international orders, if you would like to be able to track your package, it's best to upgrade to USPS Priority International mail. Although it may take a bit longer for all orders outside the U.S. to arrive, I ship internationally on a regular basis and have great success overall!
Please note that customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply on international orders. Due to new packaging restrictions, unfortunately I am unable to ship to Germany at this time.
Expedited Shipping: Upgraded shipping options may be available for an additional fee. Please contact me prior to purchasing your order if you are interested in expedited shipping.
* Shipping times are not guaranteed and may vary due to inclement weather, delays due to customs, incorrect address given, customer not accepting the package, etc.
Do you accept returns?
Yes! Except for original artwork and commissions, exchanges are preferred and will be accepted within three weeks of purchase. Please contact me first via e-mail: email@example.com within two weeks of receiving the package before you send the item(s) to be exchanged back in their original condition.
If for some reason you are unhappy with your order, let me know. I will accept a return for money back in the form it was paid as long as the item is in its original condition. The customer is responsible for all exchange/return shipping fees. All sales are final on original artwork and commissions.
How often do you release new work?
I'm always creating new things! Not all the artwork I create makes it into the shop but when I draw or paint something that I really, really love, I'll go ahead and make it available in my illustration shop. My creative process ebbs and flows but I do try to release new artwork with the change of each season. Be sure to get on my mailing list so you can be the first to learn about new art when it's added to the shop.
Can I purchase your original artwork or do you only sell prints?
Occasionally I will add original artwork to the shop. If you're interested in the original of a print you see in the shop, feel free to send me an email as it may be available for sale. Be sure to get on the Collector's List and be the first to know when I release collections of new original artwork. Please note that all sales are final on original artwork.
Do you take commissions? How can I get a custom version of an illustration I see?
Yes! If you see an art print that you like but would like to change a few things, I'd be happy to work with you to create a completely original piece of artwork based on your vision. You can read more about the commission process here.
Who owns the artwork if I purchase an original or art print?
Purchasing an original artwork, print, or any other product does not transfer rights of any kind to my images. I still retain all the reproduction rights on original artwork. When you purchase artwork from my illustration or Etsy shops, you have the right to display the art in your home or business but the artwork may not be reproduced or resold in any way without my written permission.
Can I customize the colors in my prints?
A limited selection of fashion art prints are available in multiple skin tones and hair colors. If your print has the option to choose your own colors, you'll see instructions on how to customize your colors in the product's description. Please keep in mind, everything else (colors, styling, etc) about the print will remain as is.
Can you talk more about the art print quality?
Each of my art prints is a digital reproduction of my original artwork printed on a beautiful matte art paper with archival quality Epson ink. The color depth and saturation is absolutely beautiful and difficult to discern from the original. Each order is printed on a wide format printer and hand trimmed in my studio.
Should I frame my artwork?
I highly recommend framing and matting your artwork to let it truly shine and to protect it for years to come. I have a partnership with Simply Framed and offer custom framing through my illustration shop. Since all my art prints are offered in standard sizes, you can also find great framing options at local retailers. Some of my favorite places to look for frames are West Elm, Target, and HomeGoods.
What's the largest print size I can order?
All of my art prints are currently available in the shop as 11x14 size prints. But I have been able to accommodate larger custom print orders up to 16x20. Please send me an email if you are interested in a larger size art print and I'll see what I can do!
Do you sell digital copies of your illustration?
At this time I do not sell digital copies of my illustrations to better protect my copyright.
Can I share your work on my blog or magazine?
If you would like to feature my work on your blog, magazine, or website, first of all thank you! Please contact me first and be sure to include a credit specifying that I, Joanna Baker, am the artist in addition to providing a link back to the source of my image.
